All organisations have a responsibility to create a positive workplace for their employees, and this course is a great first step in achieving this goal. This course has been designed to help employees recognise and understand the most common workplace challenges and offers ways to overcome them, including the way we’re treated and the way we treat others.

  • The course contains both formative and summative assessments

  • At the end of the learning, you will be required to take a quiz, typically with 10 – 15 questions

  • You are required to score 75% to pass the quiz and complete the course

  • Please note that the CPD programmes aim to promote awareness of good practices and industry standards. It is also a good place to understand your rights and responsibilities when working in the UK. Therefore, you can access the learning repeatedly and attempt the test to ensure you fully understand and grasp the facts.

By completion, you will be able to understand:

  • About equality and diversity at work, how to deal with conflicts and how to take care of your mental health and well-being at the workplace.

  • Outlines the benefits of diversity and equality in the workplace and shows how each person can play an active role.

  • Understand slavery legislation as outlined in the Modern Slavery Act and describe how to recognise, prevent and report instances of modern slavery.

  • Understand what counts as sexual harassment using scenario-based interactions and an interactive branching activity to explain what might or might not be considered sexual harassment.

  • Understand how employees are protected as whistle-blowers.

  • It helps raise standards, leading to increased customer benefit and consumer confidence
